I recently put out a new short ebook that analyzes 35 actual $1-2 NLHE cash game hands, most of which I played myself, but a few are from some $1-2 video footage. The book is called Reading Poker Tells in $1-2 No-Limit Cash Games, and it’s available on my site here (in three ebook file formats, including Kindle) and in the Kindle store here.
It’s only $10 and I think this is a great way to get introduced to the practical side of reading tells at the low-limits. If people seem to like this book, I plan on putting out a longer compilation of $2-5 and $5-10 hands, which is the stakes I mostly play at. Considering the difficulty of objectively talking about how to make use of behavior, and fit it into a logical strategic framework, I thought doing some simpler $1-2 hands would be a good first project. As far as I know, I’m the first person to try to do more than just list a bunch of tells and actually get into the practical, strategic implications of what to do with behavioral information once you find it.
If you’re curious about the book but don’t want to throw down a Hamilton on it quite yet, sign up below for a free 4-part email course that contains four hands from the book.
