Synopsis: This video examines long looks at hole cards when players initially look at their cards pre-flop. In general, players who stare for a couple moments at their cards will tend to have weaker cards and it will make strong hands less likely. This is because most players have an instinct to look away from strong cards and not inadvertently draw attention to them. This is mainly useful for discounting the strongest hands: AA, KK, and QQ.
